If I were you, I'd set up a different query for each person. They come from different parts of Norway and if you put the name, place and birth-year of each person in the subject line, you might have a better chance of getting some replies.Hundreds and hundreds of people are called Olsen and you don't say which part of Norway the last 5 people come from - or do they come from Ålesund too? Are they related to each other?I find this Thordis Olsen in the 1900 census for Ålesund, born in 1883. Is she yours? LenkeGood luckKjellaug R.P.

Thank you for reply. I will do as you suggest. All the last 6 names are from Alesund. The top 4 are from Lilliehammer. I have a Tordis Magnethe born Alesund March 29 1883.They are all brothers and sisters and are my Grandmother Freda Family. I have no info on them other than what I have sent. I am unable to read Norwegian and as I am elderly I dont fully understand my way around the computer. I have been so lucky with the help I have received, people around the world are so quick to help if they can just like yourself. So thankyou for your time Kind regards Anna

Anna, I've set up another post so that people from the area of Ålesund can see this. I hope you'll get more information about your family. What about your ancestors? Do you have what you need or do you want more help there too?Good luck-:)

In post 14, Ann-Mary has no doubt found Frida's brother (Frida er Anna's bestemor, så om henne har hun nok info)He was married, but where? This is the census from the ship he worked on as a second officer. In post 18, Mathilde's probable family. We have to find the marriage records to make sure it's the right person.Takk for hjelp, Ann-Mary. Anna forstår ikke norsk.
