I am overwhelmed by all this information. Let me see if I have this right.Agothe/Agate Rognaldsdtr was the d/o Rognald Ericsen & Anne Halvardsdtr, b 1760 Årdal. Other children of this marriage were Bride/Brite (1753), Eric (1755), and Anne (1758).Rognald was s/o Eric Rognaldsen & Kari Hermansdtr, b 1719 in Årdal. According to FS (not verified), other children of Eric & Kari were Herman (1713-1773), Hans (1715-1780) and Agate (1723-1787).Eric was b ca 1675 in Ytre Sogn, and is residing at Hunderi in Lærdal in 1701.This all seems to fit. Do you guys agree? Is there more about the eldest Eric (b ca 1675) that I missed?(64) About the two men named Eric Rognaldsen in 1801. The one in Gaular is closer to the right age. Arnfrid found Eric Rognaldsen born in 1719 in # 74, he had a twin Knut.If someone with bygdebooks from Gaular could check on Eric born 1755, that would be fine. As the parents moved from Sogn to Kvinnherad, some of the kids could very well have moved back, but this must be checked, of course.As for Peder Abelsen, there seem to be quite a lot too.1. What about Christi Rognaldsdtr confirmed at the same time as Eric in 1772, could she be another sibling?I have not found her in Lærdal, but it's difficult to read these od churchbooks!

About Eric Rognaldsen (the oldest one)...I saw the one who was at Hunderi in 1701. He is 26 which puts his birth year at ca 1675.Also, there is one on FS, married to Kari Hermansdtr. But he was born ca 1697 -- a pretty big difference.I know FS is not always reliable. Any thoughts?I've been looking for their marriage in Lærdal, but am having a difficult time reading this register. Nothing so far.86) About Christi Rognaldsdtr -- I do not find her in 1801 (all country).One more comment... 52) Brita Pedersdtr (wife of Mikkel Olsen Innbjoa) died in 1862. So, she was still alive at the time of Agathe Rognaldsdtr's probate (8). Why wouldn't she be mentioned?Hilsen Patti
