How can I find information about a marriage?

Hello All,

How can I find information about a marriage?

I have discovered in the Bragernes Cemetery a couple I am seeking more information about.

They are:

Alfred Nilsen, buried 5th Nov 1974, aged 73.

Margit Alvilde Nielsen, buried 1970, aged 68 in the same grave.

Records indicate they shared addresses at Odins vei 10, Drammen and also Hotvedtveien 18, Drammen.

It is assumed they were married.

 

Can anyone help with more information?

How can I find their marriage.

What other information is available in Norwegian records.

Can you tell where the other names fit in?

Are they family members, children perhaps?

Ingrid, Emma, Arvid and Astrid are the couples children, probably listed by oldest first/youngest last. The names to the right are son/daughter-in-laws.

Yes I discovered in the 1910 census that Margit had siblings Ingrid, Emma, Arvid & Astrid.

So I am guessing the other 3 are their spouses.

 

Is there any way to find the marriage of Alfred Nilsen to Margit Hansen?

 

I discovered Margit first married Olaf Arnholdt Johannessen in 1928, but i could not find a death record for him to narrow down the search for her second marriage.

 

Any help or advice is appreciated.
