What is the source of the name saebovik on halsnoy? does it relate to saebo farm? if so, wht is the relationship, if any, between Saebo farm n Halsnoy, Saebovik, and saebo farm on borgundoy? I'm trying to get my family history done both completely and accurately and need some help understanding how these places fit tgether. thanks rds

The two things these two farmes/places have in common is that they are situated in the same municipality (Fjellberg) ,and how they are situated in the landscape.-Sæbøe- means a meadow by the sea.-vik- means a small bay or a cove.Geir K Eide
