    Eg tenkte eg skulle finne ut litt meir om morsfamilien til Johan Friis, f. 5. juli 1921 i Bergen som uekte barn til o.r.sakf. Henrik Friis, f. 1859 og Gudrun Fosteland. Han omkom då det fyrste norske skipet, M/S Ronda, vart minesprengt på reis mellom Belgia og Noreg 13. september 1939. Farsfamilien er ein velkjend handelsfamilie, men iflg. Våre falne, var mora Gudrun Fosteland, d. 1935. Eg reknar med at etternamnet er feilskrive, sidan eg ikkje finn det i FT 1910, ei heller i adressebøkene for Bergen 1920 eller 1924-1925. Eg har heller ikkje funne fødselen til Johan i kyrkjebøkene for Bergen som er digitaliserte, men han vaks visst opp hjå faren i Rugsund. Håpar på litt hjelp her.
