    Dette er eit spørsmål som har oppteke meg i mange år, og som eg no vonar endeleg å finna eit svar på... Johan Fredrik Dominicusson BRANDT, presteson frå Ærø i Nordborg amt i Danmark, var f. på Ærø 18.11.1694. Han døydde som klokkar til Slidre i Valdres 22.6.1769. Han var først gift i København 11.7.1726 med Maren Teiste frå Kroken i Hafslo, men ho døydde på Lærdalsøyri i Lærdal 10.2.1732, og Johan gifte seg att i Slidre 10.1.1736 med ei Kirsti Johnsdotter HEERDAL, som er ei for meg heilt ukjend person. På same tid vart Johan Fredrik BRANDT tilsett som klokkar i Slidre, eit ombod han hadde levetidi ut. Kan nokon hjelpa meg med følgjande detaljar: ** Kva gard i Slidre vart nytta som bustad for klokkaren på 1700-talet? ** Veit ein noko om kven denne andre kona Kirsti Johnsdotter Heerdal kan ha vore? Eg takkar so mykje på førehand for alle gode tips!
