Marriage of Sara Hansdtr. Toftstad in Sandsvær

In the Sandsvær's historie  Bind 6 , page 475 ; last paragraph it is written that Ole Jonssøn Trengen

gift innen 1824 med Sara Hansdtr. Tofstad, f1798.  Sara gift igjen med Kittil Olssøn på Raje.

This is under Dusum.  I searched a few years ago and found no first marriage for Sara but I could have been in

the wrong parish??  I most likely searched the Hedenstad church records as there is where Sara was baptized

28 Jan. 1798.  Sara came to Minnesota with her sons, Hans and Ole.  She is buried at the

South Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rothsay MN.  Thank you if any more info can be found.

"When Kittil Olsen and Sara Hansdatter got married, the church book says that she was a 'Pige', i.e. it was her first marriage (Lenke)."
