How to find the cause of death in 1876 Bjørnør

Hans Bernhard Nielsen, who farmed on Nordre Vettavikk in the 1870s died May 31 1876. He was young when he died. I don't see a reference to the cause of death in the two citations which I have found. Where might that be recorded?

Unfortunately I don't believe that information has survived. 
The parson did not as a rule record the cause of death, unless it was by a dangerous, commutable disease (diseases known to be commutable at the time), or suicide. Many local clergymen did add information when a person died by accident. The page you pointed to has three causes of deaths listed: childbirth, fire, and a landslide. If Hans Bernhard Nielsen died from food poisoning, or pneumonia, or appendicites, or an asthma attack or anything like that, the cause of death was unlikely to be mentioned.
