I am trying to help a friend trace her ancestors from Norway.  An interesting line that appears to go quite back in time is the ancestors of this lady. The line can be traced fairly well back to this lady. Based on some of the internet trees it should be possible to trace her paternal line back even further. Here is the source data on her.
