The Kari Rystead who married in 1905 in Duluth was actually born in Sweden and was in her 50s in the 1910 census living in Superior with her husband Frank Fogelquist.

Who is Kari Rystead in relation to Ole Rystead?

Somebody with the same spelling surname, in the same geography, and the same time frame.  Maybe something, maybe nothing.

I'm convinced that Gjertina's surname was more likely "Rysted" and potentially was recorded on the death record and also when or if there was a grave stone in error as "Rystead". I haven't been able to find anymore records. 

Like i said earlier my surname's spelling is very rare. Have yet to find people with the same spelling consistently being used. 

Every time i see it, more likely is an error or a typo.
