Marriage license

Hello. I am trying to find my parents marriage license (vigselsattest). They got married in Rome in the spring of 1960, but the embassy only have records back to 1969. How do I find the license in the arkivs?

Licenses are only issued when needed and thus won´t be found in the archives. Your parents probably had one issued by the embassy in 1960, and if you now need a new licence, The National Archives of Norway will have to issue a new one, provided that The National Archives of Norway can find a recording of your parents marriage in archives received from The Norwegian embassy in Rome.
